                       Typically however, the summarized process is as follows:

1. Vendor and Agent sign an agency agreement as required in terms of The Property, Stock and Business Agents Act 2002.
2. The agent conducts a business review with the Vendor to obtain the necessary information about the business, its history, the market, strengths, financials, etc.
3. Preparation of a detailed business profile to be utilized to market the business. This profile will be signed off by the Vendor to ensure that it represents an accurate profile of the business.
4. Agree on a marketing strategy to achieve the best possible result for the client.
   This will usually include:  
   • presentation on our website
   • Immediate communication of the listing to qualified Buyers on our database.
   • Appropriate advertising on various websites we utilise to drive traffic and enquiries.
   • Direct communication to selected Buyers if deemed appropriate.
5. Ensure that all Buyers making enquiries sign a confidentiality agreement.
6. Providing Buyers with the profile of the business and then following through.
7. Arrange and attend meetings with the Vendor and the Buyer.
8. Obtain written offers from a Buyer and begin negotiations.
9. Once the price, terms and conditions have been agreed to, instruct the Solicitors to prepare the contract of sale.
10. Ensure that the contracts are finalized and exchanged as within a reasonable period of time.
11. Follow through the process to the date of completion.
